LATE Friday afternoon an urgent request to assist with lifting and loading a broken-down helicopter in a field in Heidelberg and deliver it to Rand Airport. It had to be done the following day.

We assisted with removing the rotor blades and then loaded the blades and helicopter onto a trailer, transporting it to the Rand Airport and offloaded it.

interesting fact about the helicopter: The history of the helicopter is said by many to have started with an ingenious drawing by 15th century painter and inventor, Leonardo da Vince.
