RICHARDS BAY – TO CAIRO

SINCE mid-May, Lovemore Bros had been kicking off an exciting project by initially storing cargo arriving from Witbank in our Richards Bay warehouse, and then transporting it around the corner to the Richards Bay Harbour. Both internal and external storage facilities were utilised for the various parts sent to us.

It came from a complete gas plant that was dismantled in Witbank, to be re-erected in Egypt – once assembled, it’ll deliver 330tons of low-pressure oxygen per day, combined with a large amount of liquid oxygen co-product.

A total of 31 containers arrived in our yard for storage. Our “Super Stacker” made light work of this with the ability to stack containers 3 high. Location is one of our many strengths in Richards Bay with the East Entrance to the Harbour being only 500m from our warehouse.

The Lovemore Bros Lowbeds team also transported 80% of the cargo – in total we were responsible for 47 break bulk loads and 31 containers.

The vessel MV Billesborg will soon be on its way to Ain Sokhna, East of Cairo in Egypt with the cargo.
