The Machine Moving and Rigging Solutions divisions are the core competence of LOVEMORE BROS. The Lovemore Bros Heavy Rigging division has the ability to relocate heavy industrial equipment which includes the rigging out, loading, transporting, offloading and positioning. LOVEMORE BROS dominates this rigging market in South Africa with a large fleet of specially equipped rigging trucks. The LOVEMORE BROS fleet of crane trucks and lifting equipment not only offer the versatility and functionality to meet our client’s customized needs but also the essential safety element that LOVEMORE BROS prides itself in.
This is a result of over 28 years of experience in the industry. Our professional riggers and crane truck operators are certified and extremely experienced in the rigging field with many of our rigger supervisors having over 20 years experience in the industry. They are able to handle anything from old school jack and pack, over the ground rigging to sophisticated, computerized PLC driven lifting equipment.

SPECIALISED AND EXPERIENCED
Our skilled rigging crew is able to draw on their many years of experience to ensure that the job is done safely and efficiently. Mobile Cranes, helicopters, gantries and hydraulic jacking operations are all typical spheres of work in which we have specialised for over 25 years.
CRANE TRUCKS
These self-contained rigging entities are equipped with multi-functional hydraulic cranes and include all necessary equipment from mechanical jacks to heavy duty slings. Our crane trucks have specially strengthened chassis to allow for point loads be placed on the crane truck deck for onsite movement while providing the flexibility required when the crane is operating. Their compact design allows for work in areas where space is very restricted or roof level is very low. Every aspect of the crane truck is carefully designed and manufactured to best suit our clients needs.
HYDRAULIC GANTRIES
LOVEMORE BROS boasts two hydraulic boom gantry systems, each consisting of four lift housings capable of lifting in excess of 300 tons. These machines were selected for their robust design and excellent safety features. They are highly mobile with a unique drive source and can be swiftly deployed to operate on a variety of sites, including green fields. Providing continual load protection, LOVEMORE BROS Hydraulic Gantries are extremely versatile, self-powered units as well as being very mobile and easily transportable.
MOBILE CRANES
Mobile crane requirements are outsourced to a reputable supplier. Our technical consultants will carefully select the best suited crane for the job and our experienced riggers will set up and direct the crane and crane operator.
STRAND JACKS
They are computerized, PLC driven jacks that have cable or strand running through the centre, they are most often used in space restricted areas or where a crane is just are not strong enough. Lovemore Bros own 4 x 70 ton and 2 x 200 ton strand jacks. These can all be linked together to be used for one synchronized lift. More detail on our strand jacks in the strand jack brochure.
RIGGING STUDIES
2D and 3D CAD drawings and professional rigging studies are produced in house by our technical staff. These are done to make sure the job is able to be done safely and efficiently. Our objective is to use the most cost effective rout while making sure the job is done safely. These drawings also help to explain to the client exactly what our plan and method will be.
RISK ASSESMENTS
These studies ensure that safety legislation are followed and enable us to consider all aspects of the lift prior to the actual execution on site. The assessments ensure that all foreseeable risks presented to, and posed by any of the work activities undertaken whilst on site.
