LOVEMORE Bros was awarded the contract to offload, rig into position and mechanical construction of the state-of-the-art Dieffenbacher Melamine press line in White River.
The production line arrived in 41 x 40ft containers and 16 x 40ft flat racks, with the out of gauge (OOG) loads, requiring abnormal load permits, being transported by Lovemore’s lowbed division. All deliveries were offloaded and containers destuffed with the focus of minimum effect on the client’s existing production flow and outbound logistics at the plant.
Lovemore then supplied site management, mechanical teams and rigging crews complete with lifting equipment, to assemble the line ready for commissioning phase.
The Dieffenbacher melamine press line spanned over 115m and consisted of various automated functions including conveyors, high-speed portals, lifting cages, lifting tables, inspection stations and high-bay storage vehicles all referenced back to the complex hydraulic press. All components were positioned within strict (German) tolerance, ensuring both level and plumb to the main press platen. Theodolites, optic levels and machine levels allowed for the accurate placement and setting and it was with pride and diligence that the Lovemore Bros teams accomplished these duties.
The first containers arrived on site at the end of April 2019 and the official launch of this state-of-the-art facility was held on the 29th of November 2019.
