PROJECT ENGINEER VACANCY – PERMANENT POSITION
Description:
Lovemore Bros Transport (Pty) Ltd are currently in search of a Project Engineer for a Permanent Position based in Durban, KZN. The purpose of the job is to conduct Mechanical engineering and project design activities relating to concept, feasibility, and delivery for complex rigging, mechanical and logistics projects undertaken by Lovemore Bros.
Minimum Qualification/ Requirements:
Location: Durban (Must reside in KZN)
Must have an appropriate qualification: BTech in Mechanical Engineering or BSc Mechanical Engineering.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation and have experience in 3D design.
Must be comfortable doing manual engineering calculations and design checks.
Must be able to work well in a team.
Must have minimum Code 8 driver’s license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for undertaking design works and verifying solutions from an engineering perspective.
Attend site visits to different customer sites to find solutions to customer problems.
Produce a cost effective and technically viable proposal to the client.
Act as Project Manager for small projects with responsibility for the delivery and control of design solutions.
Provide technical advice to team members and clients.
Advantageous:
Draughting and 3D design related experience.
Practical experience and know-how of mechanical engineering.
Experience in the maritime and construction industries.
Good understanding of mechanical methods and project management.
On site Works:
Require an understanding of the OSH Act and apply it.
Prepared to work on weekends.

NATIONAL SALES CONSULTANT VACANCY
Description:
Lovemore Bros Transport (Pty) Ltd are currently in search of an experienced National Sales Consultant for a Permanent Position. The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities for Lovemore Bros. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Minimum Qualification/ Requirements:
Location: Head Office in Durban (willing to travel) or Boksburg Office in JHB.
Must have an appropriate qualification: BCom Marketing (or similar)
Must have minimum 5-10 years’ experience in sales in either the mining, maritime, petrochemical or energy industries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and develop profitable new sales opportunities.
Propose advertising and marketing initiatives.
Monitor newspapers and internet for potential leads.
Attend functions, meetings and events that enable personal contact with potential clients.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with clients.
Maintain regular contact with clients regarding work done and potential future work.
Distribute newsletters and marketing material that will positively promote the company.
Secure new work opportunities for the Company.
Advantageous:
Experience within the construction industry; specifically in the mining, energy, petrochemical and maritime sectors.
Experience in rigging, mechanical and logistics projects.
Able to communicate in English & Afrikaans
